When you purchase one of our puppies, I want you to feel confident the your puppy had the best possible start in life.
Puppies are born in our family room. They are lovingly handled every day they are with us.
At 4 weeks they are moved into the "big puppy" pen. Now the weaning process starts by giving them goats milk in a dish... after a few days we add eggs and raw meat. From this pen they have access to an outdoor play area too. They love it... no matter the season.
All our dogs are fed a Raw diet. This includes fish, fowl, and meat. It includes bones, organs, and tripe. We add pre and probiotics, greens, fruit, vegetables and healthy oil (coconut and herring oil).
This photo shows our puppies being weaned onto raw meat. This mix has a lot of goats milk added to it to make it easier for them to transition to from Mom's milk.
By the time our pups leave to go live with their adopted family, we will have stopped the goats milk and they will be eating the same food our adult dogs are eating.
We do not restrict their intake... our dogs are never big eaters, therefore we allow them to eat as much as they want... If food is left, we take the dish away, if they seem to be searching for more, we will continue to feed until they are full... they WILL let us know.
This mix is usually chicken bought from 'Big Country Raw', a local manufacturer and supplier.
Food gets supplemented with DE (diatomaceous earth). This prevents our pups from getting internal parasites. All our pups get pre and probiotics to ensure a healthy gut and prevent tummy trouble.
We add "green" powder to ensure they are getting trace minerals and all the good stuff to give them the best possible start in life.
