About Me

My name is Birgit Fast Johnston.  I am the owner of Cutting Edge Pet Services.
  I was  born and raised in the Niagara Region and have lived here most of my life.  My  life has always included pets; mostly dogs and cats but also fish, mice,  guinea pigs, birds and even a garter snake.   My dogs are not  "just" pets... they are my 4 legged children.  My husband and I have 8 poodles that share our home.  All are breeding except our retired girl, Jubilee

Since 2003 I have worked and volunteered with animals.  I have opened my home to many cats and dogs as they await their forever home.   I am also a professional dog groomer, skilled in Anesthesia-Free K9 teeth cleaning, and CKC registered breeder of Standard and Miniature poodles.
I learned how to groom professionally under the direction of the owners of Best Friends and Raina's in St. Catharines.  Five months after starting to groom I learned how to clean dog's teeth without the use of Anasthesia.
I had my first litter of Standard Poodles in December of 2014 and have never looked back.
I had my first litter of Miniature Poodles July 2017.
